Finalist for the YWCA Women of Distinction Award for Entrepreneur

Carolyn Lundie, founder and owner of YogaButtons is honoured to be a finalist for the YWCA Women of Distinction Award for Entrepreneur.

carolyn3As a schoolteacher and the mother of a toddler, Carolyn experienced the benefits of sharing yoga with kids at home and in the educational setting. Within a six month period, she launched YogaButtons, the first and only exclusively kids and family yoga studio in Canada.

YogaButtons classes develop kids' mental, physical and emotional wellness through a unique combination of playful movement, stories, art and music. Carolyn has expanded into the public and private education systems by offering professional development workshops and classes as part of the physical education programs and regularly volunteers to teach yoga at community events.

Each Sunday all proceeds from a by-donation family yoga class are donated to support local charities.
