YogaButtons Featured in SavvyMom

Family Zen - YogaButtons Studio

'Child's pose' has a deeper meaning in Vancouver now with the opening of Kitsilano's YogaButtons Studio.

y-adult-claCarolyn Lundie, a very savvy mompreneur, opened YogaButtons with a vision of creating a community space in which children and families could come together through play and active lifestyle. Classes are open to infants (starting at four months of age) all the way to grandparents, and are designed to focus on the physical, emotional and mental developmental needs of each age group. Prenatal classes (aka BellyButtons), are also offered.

The newly designed space offers a zen-like feeling as soon as you enter. It is modern and child friendly at the same time. As a bonus, underground parking is free. And after you and (or) your kids are done finding your 'om,' head down the block to Benny's Bagels for a yummy snack or to Thomas Haas Fine Chocolates and Patisserie for a delicious treat.

FamilyButtons classes on weekends are a great opportunity for the whole gang to try yoga together, and with a nod to supporting the community, the Sunday class is by donation, with proceeds going to support a number of local charities.
