YogaButtons Party Nights Featured on ModernMama!

Babysitter Alternatives that You and Your Kids will Love!

Babysitters in Vancouver are ridiculously expensive and if you don't have family members a night out can cost you a pretty penny! I just recently discovered that there are places you can drop your kids off and enjoy a night out while they're entertained for a very reasonable price! How fantastic!

Babysitter Alternatives that you will love!

The first place is Yoga Buttons on West Broadway. My son just loves Yoga Buttons! The reason I put them first is because they offer programing for the youngest aged children. They offer Yoga parties for children aged 2-8 on Saturday nights from 6-8:30pm (seems to be every second Saturday but the schedule changes). For $25 your child will be entertained with crafts, yoga, dinner, games and fun!

Jump Gymnastics in Yaletown also offers a date night party. Their parties are for children 3-8 (children must be potty trained) and seem to run every Saturday night from 5:30-8:30pm. For $32 plus GST they get gymnastics, themed games, crafts, and pizza dinner! If you have lots of kids, the third one is free!

Another gymnastics alternative offering a parent's night off is Phoenix Gymnastics at Hillcrest who offer the program once per month at their Millennium gym. Their program is for older children (5-12) on Fridays from 7-10pm and includes, a fun evening of trampoline, foam pit, games and a movie for $30 ($15 for additional children).

The cheapest option by far is the Vancouver YMCA which offers a bouncy castle, games, crafts and a movie for children 5-12 for $15 ($10 if you're a member) and $10 ($5 for members) if you have an additional child. They offer this once per month on Saturdays from 5-9pm.

The last one is just over the bridge at the West Vancouver Leisure Centre. For $20 ($15 for second child) 4-8 year olds can enjoy trampoline, games, gymnastics and pizza from 5:30-8pm. The program is offered Saturday nights and seems to be most weekend.

With all these great and fun places for your children, the question is now... What are the adults going to do?

Know of any other fun places to drop the kids off while you enjoy some adult time? I'd love to hear about them!
