Baby + Me Yoga: Postnatal adult yoga class for 6+ weeks post-partum with babies (pre-crawlers only)
In this sweet, slow, and gentle yoga class, we focus on core movement practices for rebuilding strength and stability post-partum. Take some time to dedicate to your self-care and recovery, release stress, and step back into shape with awareness of breath and inner alignment.
Through a combination of somatic exercises, classic yoga asana, and restorative poses, this class is also a chance to nurture the growing relationship with your baby — through touch, eye contact, social stimulation and simply moving together in some playful stretches.
No previous yoga experience required, but be sure you have permission from your health care provider to begin activity. Sorry, only pre-crawlers allowed. Sleeping, crying, feeding, napping, however, are all welcome!
Adult Yoga with Christine
Tuesdays, 7-8:30pm, starting January 17th* (free intro class January 10)
A classically-inspired 90min class to reconnect and realign your body-mind after a busy day. Our practice will include mindfulness techniques, breath awareness, slow flow through various yoga asana, and deep restorative rest.
Class is suitable for all levels. Props are provided at the studio, but bringing your own mat is recommended.
